aye, but the gear ratio in 5th cant alter can it, like if it was at 3000 rpm for say 60mph it wouldnt all of a sudden change to 5000rpm as thats not possible

does the engine sound at the right rpm tho?

most probably bad reading for interference.
unless your engine is racing at 50mph then you got a problem

be interfereance from somewhere. check the green wire at the coil

Just gears 4 and 5.
Gears 123 are ok, i.e. Gear 2 @ 20mph 2500, Gear 3 @ 30mph however the rev does make some unordinary up down movments before settling to 2500ish for the first 3 gears.

cant be gearbox problems more likely rev counter or reading from coil i getting interference. does it do the same in all other gears

Not sure if anyone can shed light on this?

Whenever i put it gear 5 at 50mph the car rev o meter is at 4000-5000, it should be at 2500, is this gearbox problems?

If so, how much would that set me back? :mad: Please not with Xmas as well LOLZ
