Have got a 14XE, lightened and balanced bottom end, not decided on cams yet but will be running on throttle bodies. Tranx 90% LSD with 4.5CWP. Dont want to buy a gsi if the basic differences are only engine/ suspension. As long as the shells are both as strong as each other.

Apart from the obvious differences in engine and brake sizes etc are there any major differences in other parts accross the corsa range, ie are the wishbones/ rear subframe, chasis strength etc different between a 1.2 and GSi. Looking to start project and dont want buy a 1.2 then end up buying all the bits off a gsi because they are uprated, would rather get a gsi from the start and then mod it from there.
Have got engine/box, suspension brakes already lined up just looking for something to put them in.

Cheers for your help advice.
