1st thing check the auto box fluid, autos dont like it wen the oil is low so dont engage gera or go mad.

if it is low make sure you top it up with automatic transmission fluid and not normal gear oil, they are not the same

its random change. some time when it changes it drags in the revs then all of a sudden it picks up i dont know alot about gear boxes it might be faulty but some times u can smell a bit of box oil not all the time tho

corsa auto boxes dont only change up on the revs but also on the load eg.pulling up a hill so the box only changes up when it needs to do you have the electrionic box with sports mode ? if so stick it in sports mode and the box wont change up till its near the red line

can you explain it a bit better?

You can control the gear change with kickdown? Doesnt make sense?

Use the 1-2-3 options for gears rather than just D.

Is it staying in gears too long? Or changing up gears to readily?
