to chek if clutch slipping select 5th gear on level ground with foot on cluth, take idle up to 4500 rpm and dump the clutch, if the engine stalls then the clutch is ok.

its away getting sorted at the moment, reckon its idle control valve.. lucky i know sum1 who's got one on the cheap, coz £132+vat is a bit much

slack accelerator it wouldnt rev sounds more like vacum or throttle body sticking

bttt, not sure if it is clutch, soon as u turn key car revs its tits off, so any idea's ?? any1 got a decent pic of what accelator cable should be setup like, sure mines seems slack as hell

whats the easiest way to check if the clutch is dying ? been fine for ages, then this morning when changing gear, clutch is slipping like hell (upto about 4k revs), so basically, if its dead, where can i get an uprated one from online for a 2.0 xe, cheerz :boggle:
