the plug behind the dash should have a green wire like this...

Ok, if you check the plug that goes into your clocks you should have a green wire going into the plug - splice into the plug if you have one.
If you don't have a green wire there you should run a wire going to the - terminal of your coil to the rev counter...

Ignition lives are everywhere, they go to the fans, the radio, the ECU e.t.c... Unsure on colours - though I know that you have two near the ECU, they are thick red and black wires, both are ignition lives.

for the ground wire, anywhere on the body will be fine, so long as it's metal!

Depends, some corsas have the lime green cable as part of the loom, others dony. Take your instrument panel out the dash and have a look. probably 90% chance you do have one. While your there, you can get a live-ign feed and earth for the counter.

my corsa didnt come with a rev counter as standard thats why i brought one :P so will the cable be there ? the lime green one ?

lime green cable in your wiring loom round the back of your clocks. If not you will have to wire one from the coil.

i have brought a rev counter for my corsa b 1.4 :thumbs: and was woundering how do i connet it all up ? got it from halfords £100 quid, got one cable out the back, but i do not now what to connet it to,
please help asap
