No one uses them. Astra 2.0's aren't even spec'd with them standard... The oil cools in the sump perfectly happily... | |

Nope. The only reason why they were spec'd on Cavaliers is they were meant to have a plastic belly pan under the engine bay so the oil wouldn't cool in the sump as efficiently. | |

i didnt bother with cooler. I think the filter will rub the chassis leg. | |

If you are planning on trackdays or similar Id fit one, for road use and regular changes it should be fine without. | |

you dont really need it on an xe in a corsa, really. ive got a cally one on the let corsa, had t cut and make pipes to pipe it up. | |
