alright mate i have some dls 6.5" comps, 80w rms, looking for 140 for them. brand new, clearence stuff. i know they are £40 over your budget but anyone heard dls will say they are well worth it

yeah u do ness, i used to have them then ness bought them.
Thwere good aslong as your not wanting a crazy system, big improvement over standard and cheap.
Only bad factor, they dont take high amp power well.

Im almost sure i have these components in my doors running from my headunit. They are really good sound :)

hey guys just installed a new alpine hu. I want some new componant speakers for my front doors. I have no intention to amp them. I am simply looking for some reasonably decent sounding speakers that i can crank up off the headunit. My Hu gives out 50w x 4 so approx 15w i think rms. I am currently looking at the

Alpine SXS-1757 componants

There RMS wattage is relatively low, so i believe they will sound decent off the hu. Has anybody got any other speaker recommendations. I have a budget of £100 for just the speakers, i want the best sounding speakers running unamped
