Vauxhalls love over heating after slight accidents. I've heard of loads (vectras. corsas and astras) which have had problems with the radiator after small impacts. Some don't even have any visible accident damage on the bodywork but i think the bumper gets pushed in and damages it? I'll try and find out some more :P

yea i think its the fan switch which is gone... and it just started to happen after the accident.. but i will replace the switch and see what it is. will also check for leaks but as far as i know there arent any! and water levels fine..

cheers for ur advice guys :)

you could have a leak in the system, check all pipes and the radiator itself, easy and cheap enough to replace, check water levels first, might just be that

sounds to me like the radiator dude.
Best bets get a new rad if you can see any leaks. new fan switch while your at it and a thermostat

perhaps your rad was damaged in the accident

Is it just since the accident or was it getting hot before hand?
