so just out of curiosity, what happens if you put the exhaust cam from an X16XE into an X14XE??? if you can put the X16XE cams into an X16XEL then it will work wont it? | |

and you could always gas-flow the head if you have lots of money, will make up for the ports being smaller | |

well the exhaust cam and ports in the head are smaller on the x16xel. this will give slightly better tourque but less max power. about 98bhp. | |

The head from the X14XE has smaller inlet and outlet ports and the exhaust cam has a lower duration and valve lift than the exhaust cam in the X16XE. | |
