My car was a x14xe sri

i have put a x16xel in it swapped all imob bits from 1.4 stuff to 1.6 stuff

some earts have been extended back to the negative feed as there was no where for them to go on an uprated inlet

if the em light is flashing its definately immobiliser. if not, check you have a spark. did this once and it turned out i had left the plug off the DIS module.

Alrite mate i had the exact same of thing when i did my conversion .... when u fire it up .. check ur engine management light ... if it flashes constant .. then its ur immob

Was it a 1.2 before mate ? If so, the key u used to start ur car is needed aswell as the new key with the chip ... u need the dangle the new key in the pickup .. and start it with ur 1.2 key ...

whats the best way to find out if the fuel supply is good

the fuel lines only go on one way an the pipes arent likely to have got nipped any where

there is also a strong smell of petrol when i keep trying to turn it over
