lol i will try and figer that out some how and try it . as i say car runs fine , pulls well , just annoying light :lol:

do the paperclip test to read the fault code.

only logs a fault code if e.m light is on for more than 30 secs.

i will try it , but its not always on when i start the car only after say about 5 10 mins then comes on , just depends some time it stays on when i start it lol but its worth a try m8 ;) any other suggestions / experiances ?

try resetting ure ECU to clear the fault codes....

pop the bonnet, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and put it on something like a block of wood, leave it for an hour and let it clear the memory

then reconnect and start it back up :thumbs:

Right , got a 1.4 16v sport , got it 3 weeks ago , it has a full stainless steel zorst ( no cat if i remember too ) K & n filter , the down pipe went on it so went in to get replaced and couple of bolts snapped in manifold so it had to come off to get re drilled so all the pipe work on the front of the manifold had to come off , the wee valve thing to heat car up? :boggle: any ways all got sorted and was fine and dandy , but know my engine management light comes on then after a wee while goes off but still comes back again ? car seem s to run fine no different to when first got it? could it be to do with the pipework for the valve? cause it had been disturbed? checked all the pipes and vacums and seem to be on / ok , or could it be to do with the k& n ? :boggle: and help would be gratefull , just annoying seeing that wee orange light on my dash lol , and no im mot taking the bulb out :P :thumbs:
