well the washer turned out to be a rubber seal instead :|

also im gettin vauxhall to take it off for free :)

spilt oil and now its smoking when the engines hot :lol: :o

thats the method i use. just dont use that way to put the new one back on :o

can't get the filter off???

as mine was difficult to get to i used some big plier grip type things to loosen it.

yeah i used that to start with but mines a different oil filter housing, and wont fucking budge :|

how do you remove the washer so i can replace it :look:

also how easy should it be to remove the filter housing?
