probably disturbed/snapped the speed sensor wire. its a thin re/blue wire. theres lots of them behind the dash as it goes through the mfd, immobiliser, clocks, ecu.

check you have continuity from the sender plug in the gearbox to the red/blue going to the back of your clocks with a multimeter (make sure ign is on though)

OK, i've got a Corsa 1.4 Sport (R Reg) with an electrical speedo. I tried to change the bulb behind the heater panel controls only to find that I couldn't. During the process, I managed to snap one of the holders that the heater cables sit on so I got another one from the scrappers. I fitted that in ok, but when I went out in it later on, the speedo had stopped working... Is there anything behind the heater controls that relates to the speedo which I may have knocked out or is it unrelated? The speedo needle moves slightly when I turn the ignition on but stays at 0 when the car is moving. Any ideas?

Cheers.
