clean the ISC and use some fuel adative to clean the gunk of injectors and stuff, car will run a lot better after a good run on the motorway at about 80mph for a good 20miles | |

open the bonnet.... turn on the ignition.. but dont start the car... do you hear and wierd sound coming from the engine bay... | |

ive just bought a gsi and ive found it takes a while for the revs to drop when you release the accelerator, and sometimes it just idles up to 2,000rpm thought it was a sticky throttle cable at 1st but the revs wouldnt just rise and fall by themselves! |
