Yes, so long as you get the right one. On some engines like the C20XE there are 2 versions of ECU, you just need to make sure you have the right one. Also if your ECU has an immobilser then you need the key chip and the ring for the ignition...

Hi,

Just wondering if you have a chance of purchasing a ecu with a superchip already installed...and its for exactly the same engine as yours....is it just a straight forward swap?
