if u want a nicer note then fit a bigger engine :P :lol:
Indction and exhaust was more than loud enough on my old 1.4, streight through 2.25" from manifold back on the XE even with two silencers is still too loud! :lol: If you do remove the cat then make sure you fit it again before MOTs

what engine u got will?

i put a straight thru supersprint centre section on mine then one of the new design cherry bombs at the back :) loud but i like the tone it gives, and the burble on overrun is always welcome!

I removed the center silencer on my saxo vts using a magnex straight through section and yes it made it louder but it also lost a noticable amount of low down torque due to the reduction in back-pressure.

what pipe? i have and induction kit and a backbox... it sounds ok atm..but would like it a little bit louder

when i had a 1.2 8v i cut my centre box out and put a straight pipe in there. made a bit of difference but not a lot.

what about the center section..what do u do just replace it? how much do they cost?

remove the manifold, its not really needed, and will cater for your noise requirements.

ive heard people saying that removing a silencer will make the exhaust louder... my backbox is shown above...any chance of doing something to make it louder?:boggle:
