I mean the 1.4, 1.6 etc are the same engine as a Corsa

Its the fibre glass silencing material from the back box.

my mates rover did this (probably thrashing it about did it lol) we pulled loads of it out... silencing stuff from the back box or something lol.

its not sugar as u didnt have ur air mass meter in ur engine has been puttin loads of rich petrol mixture in and it has blown ur silencing stuff out of ur exhaust out of ur back box sorry son but u need a new 1 any qs u2u me i work 4 an exhaust maker

agreed, the silencers have fiberglass type stuff in them, thatll be the problem

air meter unplugged because it was pinking like mad.
no induction kit.
i know the mainfold right off the engine was cracked.

it's in the garage now and should be looked at in the morning.

better be a box and not t fookin cat!!

Yea, will be some kind of fuel contamination, most likely to be sugar. Has your girlfriend spit up with you recently? This is what women do apparently.

i have had an engine light on for some time.
my air mass meter is unplugged.
and i drove about 30-40 miles last nite with the petrol warning light on.

Yea, no joke.

It could be silencing material coming out of the exhaust baffles, but then the exhaust would rattle about like hell because it would have to be damn rusty for that to happen...

Right, this sounds really ridiculous but there is some sort of hair stuff coming out the end of my exhaust?!

Any ideas?
