no its not the same screen, i had one from tg online but i wasnt happy with it, so returned it n bought a pioneer 7600 7" one
fitting is a ballache to do
you have to cut away alot of the pipe behind the dash that supplies air to the left hand vents i think, i used ducktape n sealed it all up, dont notice much apart from it takes a while to fully demist on a very cold day.
As for fitting the screen in, it wasnt too hard, i used the din cage, glued that in temp, got sum fibreglass and made it secure, then went round with filler.
Make sure before you spray it that its nice and secure, as on mine, it has cracked where the filler and plastic join, need to redo it when I cn b rsed :)

personally i would mount the screen in the air vents as you'll have better view of the screen -
but back to topic, you will need to get an alpine bus adaptor to allow for the changer and another aux input to the HU (not 100% sure they do one, but everyone else does so i dont see why not), and then its just a case of switch over to aux on your HU to get the audio from your external source (ie: dvd player, games console etc).
The switched feed, you use the remote wire and the handbrake wire goes to ground

how do you do this, is it fairly simple? How do you switch between the headunit and dvd? also how would you rate the unit overall?
sorry for all the questions  just wan't to make sure it will work!

I have that unit. U have to take a switched feed from somewhere (i took mine from my headunit) and a ground (also from hu) The screen has no audio inputs so if you are playing audio u need to run it through ur headunit still.
