I know its not ideal but you can try halfords and they can send it to AEL. Will cost u but so far i havent had anything back from AEL that they havent been able to fix.

contact kenwood mate my unit broke when the warrenty just ran out and the shop was wanting a fortune to repair it o i wrote a letter into kenwood explaining the situation and that i wernt happy, they said that they were happy to repair it aslong as i made a cheque payable to them for £25

Mine broke today, about 1.5yrs old sony mp880 the black flip out one. the ouside screen goes off, and the open flip part is compltely off :(

I've had a Pioneer for less than a year but it seems the remote control bit on the back doesn't work. Is it worth contacting them to see if I have a one year manufacturers warranty or something?

try your local I.C.E shop some of the do repairs aswell

Got a kenwood DMASK head unit, and im pretty sure the gold contact pins on the face plate and or head unit are bent so they do not connect properly.

anyone on here do head unit repairs?
