no not a 16v . but last nite while takin da missus home the gasket let go so thats me with no car for da weekend and theres a cruise on 2 :(

how tight are the rad hoses?
you should be able to crush them between finger and thumb.

i'd suspect blocked radiator if they're rock solid.
get some coolant flush through there anyway.

washing powder worked for me.

head gasket id say, i magaed to split the header tank on my old car and 2 weeks l8ters after replacing the tank the head gasket went

head gasket if the header is pressurising excessivly.
they do pressurise slightly anyway

ive been told that my header tank is pressurising bcoz my radiator top hose is leaking wat is the best way 2 stop this? or cud it b nethin else ? ive checked that the jubilee clip is tight and it is so i dont think its that!
