i'm made my engine mount myself, the other mounts can just usethe old engine mounts.

get the hubs mahined down and use the hubs from what ever car u get the engine from. then use the same drive shafts.

Do you think it would be better taking the required bits off a doner car, ive heard that the shafts will need shortening to fit though?

Also, does anyone know the weight of the 2.0 16v redtop and the 1.4 16v? thanks

i paid a lot of money for the kit off regal made by m-tec. all things being well, it was a piece of piss. every part was machined and made to a good standard it seems. had no bother with it at all. there is a bloke on migweb that makes the mounts up for cheap. not sure what you do with the shafts though have heard summit about astra gte shafts, although im not sure if this is true.

Been looking for a good mounting kit for a 2.0 redtop conversion and had a search through the site and come up with a lot of ''dont bother gettin one from them'' comments etc. Heard that the Cossvaux kit is a waste of money and is the same as one of the other companies, think it was PVD. Where is the best place to get a mounting kit for the redtop in a Corsa B that is worthwhile and around how much? Cheers
