The one you need to vut is the laed that turns on the powered aerial.
This is what the mfd uses to know when the radio will come on, so that the standard radio can display its info on the mfd.
Cut the wire and it wil always display the date, but you will lose the boster on the aerial and radio reception will be affected.

There are sometimes 2. One will be labelled remote and will just come out of the headunit as a single wire ready for amps ect, the other goes right back into the ISO block and supplies +12v to the mfd which shuts off the date.

On your headunit harness you will have the headunit specific block the one end, and iso connectors on the other.

One ISO connector will have 8 wires, the other will have 4/5.

Usually wires will be

Black - Ground
Orange - illumination
Yellow - live
Red - Live

Those are the 4 required wires. You can cut any of the others, hopefully one should be blue or purple, and it will bring your date back.

btw to get date back you need to cut either the blue/blue white wire in your headunit harness, or cut the grey/red wire at the back of your ISO Block.

Something was damaged during installation then, or both bulbs have blown on the MFD display.

^O/T what is there to do to get the date back up?

If the clock isnt coming on then a wire that was needed was cut and shouldnt have been cut.

The display still comes on but the date would disappear with an aftermarket unit, but if you have nothing at all its something else.
