Stick to wheel manufacturers like Team Dynamics and Boss as they make wheels in Vauxhall-friendly fitments.

Normally the best Wolfrace can do is ET42.

You'll be lucky to find any import wheels in ET45-49.

cheers for the replies! Think ill steer clear of them then! Are there any websites that give all the fitment specs too? The ones i can find only have wheels size like 6.5x16 on...are there any that tell everything about the wheels? Any help much appreciated...cheers

No mate, using a spacer would reduce the offset. The 49mm vauxhall offset makes the wheel sit further into the arch than a lower offset would.

would putting a 3mm spacer kit on have the effect of turnng the et42 to et45? Would it solve the problems associateed with et42 wheels?

ok..so if i were to go for 16" wheels with 195/45/16 tyres, what offset should i go for?
and will a 60/40 drop be ok with it? cheers

yes, if u lower it then there will be scrubbing, cut the arches back or go to somewhere experienced that can do it for u mate

Cheers for the reply....with the et42 is there going to be any problem with scrubbing etc? if so i may look elsewhere! Most people seem to advise the higher 40's for the corsa! Is 42 too low?

4x 100 et 42 is your best bet.

Hi, at the moment have a totally standard Corsa Sport 1.6 . I have found some wheels i like in a 16" form. The site says they come in fitment of 4x100 et38 and 4x100 et42. With 195/45/16 will these fit ok? Am i right in saying the ideal offset is around the 49 mark? Will the et42 be ok or will it cause some problems?
I am also intending to fit the FK Supertec kit with a 60/40 drop. Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers
