The induction kit doesn't make any change to the volume of the induction note, removing the airbox does that. If the engine's quieter than a gnat's fart then you won't get any more noise with an induction kit.

Different kits can alter the sound, metal bases typically give a nicer sound than rubber base filters.

that.... u won't get great sound from vauxhalls <1.6 with an induction kit, they're so restrictive....

keep it and get ureself an exhaust system if u want sound...

real loud then de-cat it

loud then take centre silencer out

minimal then just have a backbox with cat and centre silencer

I recently bought a pipercross induction kit but it did not sound what i thought it would at all... anyone have any sugestions to the best kits for a 1.4 c type?
