unichip....................its the old ecu with some tom foolery bodged into it, no unichip lol! its all custom work...... last time i had the fault codes read off they were amused when i told them it was a 1.6 when the ecu told them it was a 1.4........hahaha

maybe the unichip is makin it go crazy with the error codes too, when reading them that is??

also with the engine running it just flashes lots and lots.........dont show fault codes! fucking heap

i have an x14xe ecu mapped to run the x16xe lol! vauxhall will love it! told its the lambda thats causiong problems, need to remove some foil off it, if the problem contiunes i may have to find out why its mis fireing?!

but yes, that ECU should be used on X18XE and X20XE, NOT X16XE

X16XE / X14XE uses
GM Multec MPi
GM Multec S
GM Multec CFi (XEL)

one of those...

yes but there also the codes for the Simtec 56.5 which broster has, so they carry across...

deffo got that code out, and yes i noticed it used the siemens simtec 56.5 4 code thingy, just wondered hat it ment, cars getting uber gay

This uses a different ECU to some 1.4's. Mine is the same. Its uses the Siemens Simtec 56.5 system and uses P codes which are four digit.

Are you sure its 0170? got a list of faults and that one insnt listed.

just read some fault codes off, its showing 0170, its a corsa sport 1.4 16v
