Otherwise, you start going into custom alt's and stuff that isn't quite "off the shelf". But again, it all depends on how much power your system is going to take. And as for split charge systems, i would suggest that you consider it as you can then supply your amps with 13-14 odd volts, which equals more power etc etc. However, it does put more stress on your alternator, so again that would need upgrading ASAP. | |

hmm, wouldnt that require the amp to draw out 90+ amps? sure the standard alternator is only 54? | |
