CTS are about £12 from vaux... not that much really!

If the leads werent right it'd be running like shit all over the rev range, regardless if its cold or not...

Number 1 is at timing-belt end...

i recently re-built an x16xe, and have finally got it fitted.

right, got the engine running without any fault codes for the first time today :D, but im getting a really annoying missfire, it happens all through the rev-range, not only on idle. checked the plugs, even though they are new, they are very sooty, but the car has only been run on idle so far.

seems to run fine from cold, until it comes out of "cold start mode" and then starts running very rough. cleaned the plugs, semmed to run a bit better, then started missfiring again!

any ideas:boggle:

could a leaking exhaust manifold have anything to do with it?:boggle:
