just a power plus earth, easy peasy, i fitted one in my boot for novelty, and to run a small fridge 2 summers ago.

u can get the power from your headunit wiring, depending on wether u want it to be able to put out power without the ignition turned or when u have to turn the key, thats your choice, just make sure the positive is fused, i think a 5 amp is fine but u can check on the lighter socket itself, then just ground the earth, and your done!

i've got one waiting to go into mine.
as far as i can tell you just need to run power to it and earth. fuse the power and your away.

hi people,

my car doesnt have a cigarette lighter socket and i could kind of do with one to get some power from it....i have an old cigarette lighter socket, but can anyone tell me how i would go about fitting it? Where do i get the wires from etc.
