you don't need to buy new valves i didn't when mine were stuck on just used a dremel tool with a small cutting disc and took my time so i didn't cut the valve.

Yeah some valve caps are shaped to fit a spanner and some don't but when there stuck the whole valve turns. that's why before you fit them you either need to spray wd40 in the valve or copper grease on the thread of the valve to stop this happening.

Mine did exactly the same the other week tried everything and couldn't get them off, so in the i took my time and cut them off with a small grinding disc attached to a dremel tool without damaging the valve took me about an hour to do all four.

My advice is to put abit of copper grease on the valve thread and this will stop it from happening again.

Spray wd40 on them or heat them with a lighter or something. when taking them off carefully hold the valve with a pair of pliers to stop it spinning around.

Went to check my tyre pressures and my metal dust caps have corroded and are now stuck onto the valve  Cant get them off, tried pliers on them and all sorts, just wont budge and end up spinning the whole valve around! How can I get them off so I can check my tyre pressure and then so I can also put normal rubber ones back on that dont corrode! :o
