i dont fully rememeber, was like 2 years ago. but the one i thought was a remote wasnt.

check with a multimeter to make sure you have the right remote

have u definately got the right cable as the remote.

blue on the back of the headunit in vauxhall wires isnt the rem, its the front left speaker. i found this out the funny way :|

Just been wiring up my JL Sub and Alpine amp .

The problem is that I can only get them to work , if the power cable is split two ways. One section going into the power socket , and one going with the remote cable , into the remote socket !

If I keep it this way , the amp light stays on with the ignition off :look:

If I put each wire into its correct place , remote and power , it doesnt work at all !

Totally confused about it and hopefully someone can help !
