take the dis pack out and hav a look at the part that goes on cylinder 4 if it is white (or whiter than the others) then it is probably dis. if the pack is fine i would go for a faulty injector but you'd need to take it to a vauxhall garage where they can diagnose the fault properly with the diagnostic computers ;)

i developed a bad misfire. i replaced the spark plugs and the leads, dis pack looks fine to the eye. my 4th cylinder spark plug was black and the others were all white.

got any ideas what it might be. looks like there is a bit of blue smoke which could be the oil seams worn away so that means a bit of a big job but would that create the misfire?

any other ideas what it might be, its just cylinder 4 thats misfireing.

any ideas would be great. cheers.

Mart.
