hey u should be able to get it for free, find out what reg the car was in call them up and say you're selling/buying the car and need the code for it, i did this with fiat and they gave me the code no probs:) and like blue_lew said the code for my other radio was written on the bottom in permenant marker pen! kinda defeats the purpose of a radio code but helped me out no end!:thumbs:

i know this sounds stupid but try looking all round the unit, as i found the code for mine written in biro on the bottom label!!

Got me a nice xr2i w standard radio need the code for it though
is there any way of getting hold of this code without paying ford
