Why bother with a K&N panel?

Get a Pipercross one - cheaper to buy and will cost less in the long run due to lasting three times as long.

well i did it, is it worth resetting the ecu? and how do i do this?
Also ,ive got no extra noise and left the red wire in place, and took the hot pipe from manifold off,
Thanks,
Matt

well no...

follow the red wire round the back of the inlet manifold, its attached to the black injector-housing/tb-housing box...

remove the box for easier reach & then remove the red vac-tube from the box & bung the box where it came from.

You could leave it, it doesnt really matter I suppose!

basically block off the red wire then? by taping it up or putting a screw in it? also wot the the red wire actually do? and do i leave the manifold/hot air tube in place?
thanks alot, hoping to do it 2day! :D

remove the red wire & fit a bumg to the back of the inlet manifold where it was attached to block it

dont drill it either, just remove the baffle-plating on the left-underside of the filter box

When drilling the standard airbox do you have to block up the red wire etc or leave them as they are? is itjust a case of drilling some holes?
Also, will i notice any noise with a standard filter/exhaust?

Thanks
