do the whole lot in 1 go then its pice of mind also if you use a vaux belt it has a gaurauntee no matter who fitted it? id check that but its what i thought they said to me | |

for the auxillary drive belt you need to remove an engine mount to get it out, either that or remove the PAS pump (I assume you have PAS). Really stupid design. | |

Only advice is to put the belt round everythign but the inlet pulley then wind on the crank off the exhaust pulley to give you as much slack in the blet to slip on the belt over the inlet side, it's a right bugger and you'll see claret no doubt. | |

nah I always go over each bolt about 3 times checking & make a lil check list of what bolts I've undone & where there located :lol: | |

always used to do belts on my 8v at 10k intervals... | |
