I wasnt planning on doing this, it was jsut an example. I can easily do this air box myself, find a better profile camsahft from an old nova, and a larger throttle body from scrappy.

As explained earlier, a larger engine is not an option

well on my old one i did...

full staight-thru exhaust with decat
head from 1.6i nova gsi
'slightly' adjusted the ignition timing by twisting the dizzy
1.6l injector from C16NZ

popped & banged like a bitch, but was quicker... Could actually keep up with 1.4i SRi's then

engine tho went bang in a blaze of glory & was never more ;)

not really an option at the moment, I need the money for other things.

Life in the slow lane from now on!!

get rid of the engine and get a 1.6 16v or 2.0ltr 16v

Fair enough. I'm just clinging onto some hope of making it faster.

I'm going to have to sell my corsa soon as i bought an spi astra (GF made me do it).

if it has no DIS pack, fit the head from a 1.3SR & cam too...

not that its really going to make 1 bit of difference...

What about the cam with a larger throttle body?

broster

not really, even if it did then the gain would be minimal and not noticed

We all know Spi 1.4 are s**t, but would fitting a camshaft/cam from a nova 1.4 sr make any difference to the power output?
