Not that I bothered to depressurise the fuel system... :o

don't u have to depressurise the tank and all before u touch the fuel filter!

it takes me 20mins alone just to get to the friggin relay behind the side foot panal!
damn torx screws and bits! to hell with them all!!!!!!!!

If you've never changed your fuel filter before, do it anyway. They're only about £6-7 and can be changed in half an hour.

almost as if its under fueling, is fine when warm, but when cold and you gently increase speed in that rev range its really jerky, any ideas?

no dont sould like filter to me. its under the sill on the drivers side go take a look, just infront of the rear wheel

as in behind the arch, and not in the engine bay? if mine is broke would this expalin it being jerky at 2-2500 revs, but only when cold?:boggle:
