so did my 1.2 merit... it was just a case of out with the old clocks in with the new...

the wire is here on the plug

My merit/swing already had the pea green wire on the plug at the top. so it was a straight swap.

if its a 1.4 then the wiring will already be there, jus get the right speedo drive (cable or electronic) and it'll b plug & play. If its a 1.2 then you will need to run a wire down to the green one in the 9-way multiplug near the ECU and connect this up to the relevant pin at the speedo/rev counter end.

the wire is usually taped up if it doesnt swap straight over

how comes some are different? is it easy to add a new wire?

it may just be a straight swap... unplug old... plug in new, some peoples are some aren't

my corsa b 1993 lf only has a speo and i am looking to add a rev counter as well by buying a new panel.

Will this be easy?
