thank you 3cm.exactly what i was looking for.not smart arse answers!!!

i removed some rust on my tail gate, sand it back to bare metal, get rid of every spec of rust, then use a rust treatment on it, sand that smooth and prime it, then u have to paint it like normal.

can gets loads of rust treatments, and rust preventing primers too

ok how do you treat rust then?

i knew that was coming!!

step buy step guide for a sure fire way to get rid of rust.

1 - remove pannel with rust on,
2- replace with new pannel
3- paint to match

does anyone have a step by step guide to get rid of it.cheers in advance.
