Christ I did the conversion an the car is still down the drive had problems with the knock sensor but thats because i have a x16xel engine with a x14xe loom on it

Hey guys might be too late but im just converting my X14XE corsa to a X16XE corsa and eveything fits straight on, ecu, loom the lot, x14 and x16 ecu's are slightly different but have the same maps apparently so you shouldnt have any troubles running it, obviously if u dont get a new ecu u dont need the 3 transponder chips, thot i wud add as i am experiencing the conversion, catch u l8r

right so i need the engine the ecu the wiring loom from ecu to engine the transponder chip outa the key and the transponder off the ignition barrell

u need the engine ECU. i'd get the engine wiring loom anyway(the x14 may be slightly different). you also need the transponder that is on the ignistion barrel of the doner car....

I currently have an x14xe engine and i wanna swap it for a x16xe do i need to change my wiring loom or just my ecu
what about transponder chip and transponder signal reciever
