A broken FPR would mean no pressure so the injctors will open but no fuel will be injected as no pressure to push the fuel through.
Run the fuel pump and then push the schreder vavle on the fuel rail to see if pressure is there.

If the ecu isn't powering the injectors then not opening.
remove the fuel rail with the inectors in place and turn over the engine and see if they are clocking

Against remove the fuel rail with injectors in place and see if any fuel is getting through.

no fuel getting into engine

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

posted the other day trouble starting my new nova gte engine e16se.

worked out that its a fueling issue as i sprayed easy start into the throttle opening and it started for a few seconds.

fuel is getting as far as the fuel rail so ive ruled out fuel pump and kink in fuel pipe.

what would stop fuel being passed through the injectors?

broken fuel pressure regulator?
problem with injector wiring?
blocked injectors?
