yer the speedos working fine (its electronic on the sports) so now chance of a snapped cable, will definetly also look into the coolant sensor as I know this can cause plenty of problems by itself :(

Basicully it suddenly happended lastnight after i started the car lastnight, left it running for a while and came back to it and started to pull off but as soon as i came off the revs it cut out, and again, and again!

all its done today is much the same, fine from cold then it cuts out at every junction etc, basicully the revs fall below 1k and never recover.....

Just wondering if its something to do with the spark plugs or something simple like that as the car sounds very lumpy sub 2k revs and i was thinking it was dropping a cylinder.

On a normal drive i.e straight road normal driving its as if nothings been happening and it feels as good as before i began to experience this problem!?

Anyclues? cars a 1.6 sport 1998 with 46k on the clock!

Cheers
