well technically yes, but you can't. Just dont go above generally 3000 revs in any gear, for example don't redline the car when driving through the city. this just wastes fuel and draws attention to yourself. just general stuff like don't speed up to junctions and slam on the brakes. | |

no i cant smell fuel, more city driving, starting and stopping etc...... i just to get the most of every gear too lol. when im changing gear quick the fuel gauge seems to go down more so i like to stay in gear longer and get to a higher rpm! | |

I wouldn't imagine that the temp gauge would cause it to use much fuel, What is your drivin, mostly motorway or mostly town, be wary now but cause of the temp gauge, ideally you shouldn't go above 3000rpm when engine is cold, also do you like to stay in gear for a lot as that uses fuel, btw when driving can you smell petrol as I can and mine uses a lot of fuel. needing to get it checked out | |
