are you positively certain you reset the linkage right? its either that or a fecked linkage....

when i done my conversion i didnt tighen up the clamp bolt right and lost reverse in rush hour traffic... no biggy but then i lost 1st and 2nd:| yay the fun of driving 9 miles with 3rd and 4th gear and every cnuting traffic light being red.. fecked the clutch good and proper....

Put it in first position and have someone hold it there, get under the car and loosen the linkage bolt and hold the linkage, then have them put it in third then tighten it up.

If you're getting the gears but in the wrong places ie. to the left or right of where it should be then its just a linkage problem and should be easy to sort.

can you get fifth? normally if youve set the linkage too far over so you get first in reverse you wont beble to get fifth cos it wont go over far enough

the linkage on top of the gear box is bad for wearing, sounds like wear and tear :(

did you correct the gear linkage in the right place, gear lever held to the side and box in neutral? lift the gear gaiter up and make sure it goes far enough left and the lift reverse works

Right the blue corsa wont go into reverse. Its a 1.2 8V

I have tried resetting the gear linkage twice & that hasn't worked. Also when in neutral or any other gear it is very sloppy & the gearstick can be moved about quite alot

Any help on this would be much appreciated
