lol. so long as you've got enough brain to cut some MDF and secure it together it cant go wrong :P

how are you feeding wires into the box? i take it your going to buy proper terminals, instead of just drilling a hole in the side of the box :)

aye well ive got the sizes worked out perfect for it! (i think) might pick up one of them later when i go to work.

if its a sealed box, you can shove some cotton woll in there, thats all good :D

all the sound pros on here LOVE the whole sound deadening thing, they all recomend doing it to ya car. ADiSRi has some pics of all of the inside of his car done.

ive never heard of doing it to the inside of ya boxes thou :boggle: If the box is built properly, it shuoldnt vibrate :thumbs:

make sure they are the rite INTERNAL volume, and it'lll sound perfect :thumbs:

i went over all joins and edges with fibre glass for that lil bit of extra protection. £7.50 for a complete kit from halfords, still got LOADS left, anough to do my next instal :d

o yeah is it worth while sound deadning the inside of the box's. was told to do it to prevent the box vibrating??

i used 1/2 mdf in my first instal. it was ok. gota be carefull of screws splitting it thou, coz its thin ish...

ok i am about to made 2 box's for my momo polk subs and was giving them 2" clearance from the bottem of the box. the idea which i have is similar to this-

but if i use 3/4" mdf i might not be able to have it sitting level with the the boot lip.

would it be possible to use 1/2"mdf or would it simply not be strong enough??? :boggle:

need advice asap casue im dying to get this stuff going!!!!:mad:
