yes it really is bent, not the little nobbly bits on he ends arnt sitting right eather, removing it properly soon and get it welded...... quality products dont last long in my hands!

get a long piece of wood and stick it in the middle of the clutch pedal.. draw a line on the piece of wood were it meets the bottom of the sterring wheel.

now pres the pedal right down to the floor and again put the piece of wood in the centre of the pedal with the pedal on the floor. drw another line on the piece of wood at the bottom of the steering wheel.

now measure the distance between the the 2 lines on the piece of wood.

it should be between 126mm and 132mm....

IIRC, you need to measure your pedal's travel rather than the thread on the cable.

i dunno where it goes. but after i started fidiling with that, my clutch broke, £200 it cost me. i Sh*t you not.

i ad problem took it too local garage twisted a bit of it and sorted, free of charge, feels like a brand nu clutch!!! off the top of my head halfway???

its the clutch cable on a 1.4 16v ecotec.

where abouts should that ring be on there? my mate adjusted it coz i couldn get into reverse and 1st very easily, but now it really splutters when it starts, and ideas? cheers
