i have a similar problem to this, however i get it at very low revs, and breaking at speed. A mechanic friend said it could be the universal joint but i dont know how this could possibly cause this... could it possibly be the suspension, as my dampers are f00ked ??

(pretty sure the lad who had the car before hit a few too many kirbs...dozy arse)

interesting... i started having this problem when i changed a buckled alloy from the front to the rear.... this would explain it.... have to wait 3 weeks for a new fecken wheel though :|

fooking hell some people getting ripped nowadays.

Pads and disc sets are roughly £40-£50 for an APEC set. Fitting doesnt take long at all

I had a similar problem a few months ago, it turned out that I had warped drums

if the disks are warped this will be because you have ragged the car and do a lot of heavy braking and they may not cover this on warranty? depends on company i guess.

Sounds like discs are warped. Might be minor, hence why you're only feeling it at certainly speeds.

Still needs replacement discs and pads if that is the problem though.

when ever i go over about 80ish (on a private road obviously) and start to brake the car seems to shudder and shake!
u can really feal it in the brake pedal and it only happens at high speed, not at low speeds, even at about 60 its ok?

anybody had any problems like this and also its on a corsa c?

cheers
