mine is on before and about half a second after starting the engine, did it on my old 20xe as well

Mine was knackered which caused the light to stay on perminantly. It cost me £4 i think for the part and was located at the back of the sump iirc

you running a 2.0l siberia? I have a sneaking suspision that I havent seen mine lit when you put the ignition on since the conversion...

mine was at the front left hand side of the engine but i dont know on the 1.6

mine dont come on at all even before you start the car... i thought it was the blub but its not i changed it and still the same .....

were is the switvh located on the engine so i can have a look.....

depends how it breaks...

if tis unplugged then it will always be on, if it shorts, then it will stay off

mine was broken and i had no warning light but that was only on a 1litre
