Try traceing the wires its joined to in the loom its could jus be a diy bodge replacement of a burned out or broken wire but if your gona leave it in take off the blue crimp on connectors n solder n tape it coz that could couse probs later in life:thumbs:

then goes across bulkhead and into this grommit...

it may have had a replacement loom from another car at some stage.
think astra ones are different to cav ones.

the loom in my corsa has a single wire going to the loom near the battery through the bulkhead seperate to the loom and back down to the kick panel where the ecu is.
was just simpler at the time to do it that way than to tape it all the way back along the loom to go into the main grommet.

shouldn't worry about it too much.

just been out 2 remove my loom from the cav for the c20xe...

When i got the plugs thru the bulkhead and out i notice a wire joined into the loom and then goes accross the bulk head into the other side grommit...

is this normall?? it seems like its been by a diy... as the wires are green/white to black and black to summit else


ne ideas??
