the only way to get rid of the crackling if u have uprated ur head unit is to replace ur speakers with aftermarket more powerful ones. the cause of the crackling is over powering the speakers, which damages them and makes them crackle, i rekon u shud jus get some 13cm ones wont cost u any more than £30

why do you want standard ones if the ones you have crackle? surely getting more standard ones wont do any difference?

wont need adaptors if you sticking to 13cms speakers, if you want 17cm's then you will need them.

Well you usually get what you pay for, cheapest will probably be some sony 13cms.

But the best option will be some 17cms components with some adaptors but then your looking over a ton fot them.

Probably ebay, but the easiest place would be a Halfords/Ripspeed.

Just pay your money and you'll have no hassle. You might pay £10-15 more, but that's worth it for a stress-free life.

Having done a search I know they are 13cm in diameter

So my question is were is the cheapest place to purchase replacement speakers as my front ones crackle on heavy bass

Don't want to spend alot of money as I plan to sell the car sometime this year

Any help is greatly appreciated
