Easier to buy a donor car like an Astra GTE, Cav GSI etc, then you have all the ancilleries you will need and some of the running gear.

depending on what corsa you have you may only need a drivers side mount and a spacer for the gearbox mount.

you can use the astra shafts but it is not recommended as the near side one is too long and supposedly wears your bearing out. best thing to do is get a half decent donor car, and a conversion kit from somewhere like cossvaux.

Would I be better just buying a 2 litre 16 valve cavalier to get the brakes engine gearbox. Are the driveshafts from a cavalier the ones u use on the corsa or are they different? How much do u want for the set u have for sale?Do the engine and gearbox mounts have to be changed.

Cheers

yep they fit straight on, i have a set for sale, yeah so far apporx 900 is what i have spent, but i have added a few extras like powder coated rocker cover and cam belt cover. an i had a new water pump, rollers/tentioners, cam belt, head gasget. but you can pick them up for about 500

Does £900 include everything like brakes and driveshafts and all that. Do astra or cav callipers and discs fit straight on.

Cheers

best to get is the LET which is the turbo version, but costs a lot more to fit and run.

Im doing an XE conversion on mine at the moment and have spent about 900 in total but i reckon you could do it cheaper.

Hi thinking about gettin a 2.0 engine in my corsa which is the best 1 to get c20xe or c20let or are they both the same. What are all the bits you need to do the conversion.
